Richmond completed a 33,000 sf administration and research facility for Epizyme at 400 Technology Square in Cambridge. As Design/Builder, Richmond oversaw all aspects of planning, design, permitting, and construction. Design was completed in just eight weeks and the construction duration was less than four months. Epizyme is leading the creation of small molecule histone methyltransferase inhibitors (HMTi), a new class of personalized therapeutics for the treatment of patients with genetically defined cancers.
Ragon Institute, Cambridge, MA
The Richmond Group has completed renovations at 400 Tech Square for The Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT and Harvard. Since HIV/AIDS emerged as a global health problem nearly thirty years ago, Ragon scientists have made significant gains and impressive breakthroughs in their understanding of the disease and how to treat it. Richmond was retained by Aileron during the early planning and the building selection phase of their expansion. Aileron selected 281 Albany Street as the location for their new corporate offices and research and development facility, Richmond was retained by the building owner as the Construction Manager for the 30,000 sf tenant fit up. The project was completed fall of 2010.

Richmond was the Design/Builder for approximately 18,000 sf of new first class corporate offices and research and development space. As one of the first tenants to lease new lab space at 215 First Street, Cambridge, MA, Eleven Biotherapeutics' new facility was completed in spring of 2010.
