H3 Biomedicine 6th Floor Expansion
Cambridge, MA

The Richmond Group is in the process of expanding the newly constructed H3 Biomedicine facility at 300 Technology Square in Cambridge, MA. TRG completed construction for H3's 5th floor facility in 2011. H3 teamed up with ESAI who has provided $200 million in research funding and access to the capabilities and resources of a global pharmaceutical company. With this support and projected growth, H3 decided that they would expand their science to the 6th floor. The landlord (ARE) contracted TRG to remove a section of slab in order to construct a communicative stair that will join the two spaces. Included in the construction is a vivarium, chemistry lab, and biology lab along with office, conference, and innovation space. The new facility is customized to the scientific and collaborative needs of genomics-driven drug discovery.
